Industrial Piercing

An industrial piercing is a type of ear piercing that involves piercing two holes in the upper cartilage of the ear and connecting them with a single straight barbell. This piercing creates a unique “industrial”  look. Industrial piercings are a specialized service and an initial consultation may be required.

While industrial piercings can be visually striking and stylish, they require patience and commitment to ensure a successful healing process and long-term comfort.

Cost

The cost of an industrial piercing is $50 for the service and the jewelry starts at $40 for a classic titanium piece with plain beads on each end.  Jewelry will increase in price with gem settings and gold options.  Straight barbells are the most common choice for industrial piercings but our staff can help you with any custom requests.

Healing

The healing process for an industrial piercing typically takes around 6 to 12 months, although individual healing times may vary. During this time, it's crucial for clients to follow proper aftercare procedures to prevent infection and promote healing. Aftercare typically involves cleaning the piercing with saline solution or a mild soap solution twice daily, avoiding trauma or pressure to the area, and refraining from changing or rotating the jewelry prematurely.

Placement

The placement of an industrial piercing involves piercing the upper cartilage of the ear at two specific points, usually spaced horizontally apart. These points are typically located on the helix, with one hole near the top of the ear and the other closer to the ear's entrance. The piercings are then connected with a single straight barbell, creating the industrial look.
