About The FALL
The FALL was originally conceived in Halifax, NS with the idea of creating a different alternative artistic community space. This studio would enable artists and their clients a space with a conscious focus on creating and presenting custom artwork. The FALL was born from the need to be different.
Once reopened in Vancouver, following a devastating fire; bigger and better with a clearer vision and solid sense of direction. The scope of work The FALL choose to cater to often fall into "Anti-Art" categories and include but are not limited to Body Art & Tattooing, multi-disciplinary art, wearable arts, digital media and much more. Serving artists and organizations that are included under this umbrella has provided many with the ability to display and sell their works on a local, national, and international level. The FALL Gallery
The FALL is a multifaceted art orientated business that promotes artists and their works by developing a diverse residency of new forms, alternative, and multimedia artists and fostering interactions among those artists and commercial markets in a peer-based, community setting. We work with artists to position mixed media, new forms, cutting-edge and alternative art as a vibrant part of the Canadian cultural consciousness.
The FALL Store
Lines of clothing and accessories sold at The FALL come from BC born businesses, owned and operated by local designers and artist collectives that maintain sustainable ethical, environmentally conscious practices. These suppliers have roots in the community they tailor their clothing to, they provide high quality wears at fair prices and reinvest in the development of the communities and cultural scenes they cater to.
The FALL Studio
The FALL is a custom studio, home to some of the most talented and professional artists in the industry. Artists that work at The FALL are passionate about their art, they're constantly improving on what they do, learning, innovating, moving themselves and the industry forward in an artistic direction. They each bring a unique aspect to the field through their individual artistic style and background but each artist maintains the highest level of service with all clients, providing educated advice, custom art and an overall enjoyable experience even with the pain.

Our demographic largely consists of male and female art enthusiasts between the ages of 19
to 36, with a strong presence in niche sub cultural communities and their relevant art genres
including illustration, music, graphic and fine arts. Our frequently updated online content
is focused and relevant, and our current ad rates are very affordable. If you are interested in

Online - The FALL tattooing.com is a comprehensive, interactive, content heavy website showcasing works by artists of all types and attracting over 10,000 visitors a month. Advertise with
a 160 x 600 pixel ad located on the right hand side of our website and have your add attached

During events - The FALL hosts several events every month from art shows to fashion shows to
fundraisers and charity events. Our events draw any where from 150 to 350 visitors of different
demographics depending on the type of event. If you would like to talk further about the type

In store - The FALL reserves an area in our studio with a highly visible surface and newspaper
rack for promotional material such as fliers, coupons, posters, zines, and business cards. It's
free, just ask first.
Advertising for The FALL
The FALL takes a unique and fun approach to advertising and we are always looking for
interesting ways to have our voice heard. From interactive window displays, like our annual
Halloween window, to event sponsorships and gift giveaways, to cross promotions with other
businesses. We even sponsor athletes like Mat Kroetsch, a local Longboarder grabbing a lot of

Space + Art Rentals
With almost 2000 square feet of usable floor space and 1300 square feet of wall space The FALL is proud to be able to offer a unique type of venue for events that support the communities we serve. Conveniently located directly across from the Granville Skytrain, Seymour entrance, The FALL proudly hosts six annual art shows organized by our staff every year. As well as one exhibition showcasing a solo artist or a collective we haven't had the pleasure of working with before. In addition to our regular art openings The FALL has hosted other events such as fashion shows, burlesque shows, live body suspensions, photo and film shoots, fundraisers, charitable events, and poetry readings.

Rental Pricing + Inquiries
Space rental may vary depending on usage, capacity, and space needs. In order to give you an
accurate quote, please e-mail us a proposal answering the following questions:
- How much space will you need?
- What is the date and time of the event?
- How many attendees are you expecting?
- How long do you want the event to run for?
- Do you want to have The FALL provide a bar?
- Will you need to use the walls or would you like the art to stay up?
- What type of sound will you need?
- Do you have any other info about the event you think is relevant?
In instances where the event is for charity or supports the art community we are able to provide
the space for a very reasonable price and sometimes free if promotional incentives are given.

Artwork Rentals
Art rentals are handled on an individual basis and the price is determined in coordination with

Art Submissions
The FALL hosts several annual art shows which we take submissions for all year round. If you feel you have work that would fit into our gallery, please download the submission form located below and email it to Emily@TheFALLTattooing.com.

Orders will be shipped on the next business day (Monday - Friday) following the placement
of your order. Orders placed on Friday will be shipped the following Monday. If it is not
possible to ship on that day or the next following day, we will make sure to contact you as
soon as possible. All domestic orders to residences and businesses will be sent via Canada Post
XpressPost or Regular Ground, whichever you specify during checkout. Shipping times depend
on your location but in general, XpressPost takes 3 business days and Ground takes 5 to 10 days.
We reserve the right to delay or hold orders with inappropriate shipping information.
Shipping Corrections:
Please send all address corrections to OnlineSales@TheFALLtattooing.com with the
phrase "address correction" in the subject line. Please make sure to include your Paypal
transaction ID with the email.
The FALL Return Policy:
All sales are final.
Damaged Prints or Clothing:
If you receive a damaged item, simply return the item to us in its original package with
a copy of your receipt. We will refund you on the return shipping and exchange it if
we still have the item in stock. If the item isn't in stock we will give you the option of
exchanging it for another item of the same value or we'll simply refund you in full. Please contact OnlineSales@TheFALLtattooing.com
If you receive the wrong order:
Simply notify us and return the item. We will exchange it for you and refund you on the

Shipping Policy / Rates:
If you need your package shipped to countries outside Canada, simply select either the
US Standard or International Standard option when you are ready to checkout.

Tattoo Artist
The FALL is built for and is comprised of artists that have chosen to pursue tattooing as their
preferred medium, even though they have a background in other mediums which they still
practice, they devote their time to making sure their tattoos are perfect. Each person brings
something unique to the studio, which is a big factor in what makes The FALL such a great
environment to work in. If you think you can bring something special to The FALL, please

Piercer
The FALL is proud to provide its clients with a professional, friendly, informative, and safe
piercing experience. Currently Rick Gilmour is our resident piercer and The
FALL is happy to have him. We require a very impressive portfolio, a strong work ethic, and
uncompromised safety practices to be able to hire someone as a piercer and find the best way
to ensure these things are in place is to train them ourselves. Apprenticeships are taken on an as needed basis.
Other Employment
The FALL occasionally needs to hire new staff for retail, art, or administrative needs.

GROUNDED.TV
The primary purpose of Grounded TV is to write, film and edit cultural and socially relevant content for the purpose of distributing it via a web-based television network. This web-based television show sheds light on people and events that bring a positive change to our world through their music, art and social activism. The site also acts as an online community where artists and fans can connect, network and promote their projects to further the growth of this amazing social movement. Our mantra is simple: to create a positive change and support those doing the same.
The show was started and continues to be run by a group of artists and musicians in their early twenties. This young group includes artists from various genres of media, be it film, visual FX, graphic design, or generals arts, as well as rappers, DJs and musicians. This team runs Grounded TV with virtually no budget and dedicates their time to this movement while simultaneously working towards their careers and plugging away at their day jobs. Everything that is done at Grounded TV is done with love and for the purpose of further expanding the project.
